My cover of track #7 from Jean Michel-Jarre's 1978 masterpiece Equinoxe. Three minutes shorter than the original and I'm sure with a few elements of JMJ missing...

Hello World!, I say WELCOME. I'm a 57 years old classic rock fan and musician. For the most part I only do covers of classic rock and folk songs but am known from slipping in an occasional ballad or instrumental here and there too.

Story behind the song
I had paid attention to the most prominent songs on this album, specially part 5 which is the one piece that gathered the most commercial air play as I can recall - was 11 years at the time this was released, needless to say the impression it made on me was significant and is the main reason I went coo-coo for midi at an early age. Recently I bought the remastered release of the album and when this track came along on my commute from work to home playlist, I realized how I had forgotten how awesome the song is, it had been a while since I had been able to listen to the original LP which I bought back in 1979... currently stashed away in a storage room 2,500 miles from where I live now. I was very happy with the result.
Lyrics
Just... the music.
