Story behind the song
O.k. not being one to Back down from a challenge, I was approached by one of my employees to write an "Urban" song with a title supplied by him. The title he gave: "Night Shift". Challenge accepted. Well I believe that I did about as well as can be expected for a 49 year old white dude armed with an IPhone, a guitar and a few really cool apps can be expected to do. Apps used, Nano studio, Garage Band, Vio (for the Auto tuned "Workin' for the man" and "Night Shift"vocals), Robovox (The low pitched "Oh yeah" " Workin' for the man" and random "Boss voice") And Audiobus, which lets you run one app into another which is AMAZING, no more copying sh** to the computer and importing it back into the Iphone to use with another app. Stratocaster for the guitar solo run through the Garage band 70's Marshall amp, compressor, Fuzz and 2 delays.
