Story behind the song
"Dod till Liv" -- This production is a Sound Design study of Baroque choral music for funeral; and is a transcription and adaptation of a period organ and scoral score (1660). This score is one of only two surviving choral scores composed by Andreas [or Anders] Dueben - a German-born, court organist and composer in Stockholm, Sweden. This composition by Dueben was for the funeral of the Swedish King, Charles X Gustaf. "Dod till Liv" is Swedish for "Death to Life;" to describe the mysterious and mystical melodic textures throughout this adaptation for synth orchestra.
