Lyrics
Just yesterday, as I walked on the street, The city sounds washed over me. But I thought I heard you call my name I turned around and you were there again. Was it desire, a shadow’s fall, A twist of light, a wish that’s all? Life is like a stream, So fast we’re caught between Reality and a dream. I saw your face and your smile was there. Not a word was said, but you spoke so clear Of a time of joy and a time of pain All swept away by the driving rain. [Bridge] It happened as fast, you just turned and were gone Like a lightening flash in the confusion of a storm. Then the city sounds pushed up like a wind, But above it all I heard your voice sing. It’s all desire. It’s a shadow’s fall. A twisting of the light. A wish for us all. Life is a stream, So fast we’re caught between Reality and a dream … Reality and a dream … Reality and a dream …

Definitely Rod Stewart or Elton John quality of music! Hope you liked them?!?!? Totally professional sound my friend! Bravo!
Such an open heartfelt song, touching on memory, desire, and regret. Really enjoyed eveything about this one - wonderful vocal performance Larry.

Wonderful piece Larry - profound, honest and deeply moving. Beautiful piano and a world class vocal, deftly produced with a perfect lightness of touch. The lyric is the best part though - absolutely top notch - you captured that emotion so perfectly in so few words - pure brilliance!

The piano is hypnotic in its rhythmic course but the vocals are loose and free and float over the top. A nice and sparse, tasteful arrangement and a superb performance.

This is certainly a real gem of the evening. The piano and vocals are imaginative and flows so well. the track is arranged beautifully...Terrific job. Partially enjoyed your vocal performance, but everything is perfect. (oh, also nice musical interlude too.)
