Silent B was 1/2 of the infamous Cincinnati rap duo Tha Product D an B. Originating in 2001 they played shows around the Cincinnati area and recorded several albums (most of which have been lost, stolen, corrupted, etc.) Various legal, financial, and transportation problems had postponed their music career then when D's entire archive of literally hundreds of verses got stolen he persuaded B to go solo. Silent B recorded 3 solo albums (Songs To Slaughter To, L.I.F.E (Life Is @#$% Evil), and 94.20) until the passing of two close friends (Scott and Matt Finley RIP) inspired them to collaborate and make a tribute song, sparking that chemistry once more. They then continued to write the album Worth The Wait, finally something to show for their years of dedication to the music. During the recording of their next album, the birth of B's daughter and the passing of yet another dear friend (Chris Holland RIP) inspired B's next solo album as well, New Beginnings. Then in 2009 Silent B gave his life to Jesus Christ and now his life, as well as his music, now have completely changed in a new direction, wanting to help people instead of just glorifying death, drugs, sex, money, and violence. He has since recorded 3 more albums (the double disc album Chasing The Wind With Synthetic Bliss, Perseverence, and Redemption), and is currently recording his next album Organized Chaos. Even if you don't completely agree with the message, please listen with an open mind it's worth listening to. The realness, passion and sincerity of the lyrics doesn't sugarcoat what's going on, rather suggests practical solutions and provides hope to a hurting dying world, a peace throughout this chaotic storm called life
