Blues. Used to busk. Thankyou for looking March 2021. Love/art/blues/Rob. So, musical diary
Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Just fun. I've got unknown coolites hanging around my consciousness for God Knows What, and even this post won't move them on. There should be something said here, but somehow, it isn't. Fishy A Short Story By Rob Phillips (robertemerald), based on real events. A bloke goes busking. Later he's followed to the dog beach. That is tacitly agreed, by the strangers with their diabolical and highly threatening method of unnaturally following him, to be lifesaver territory. The strangers do not speak to him. No one speaks to him. No one ever has. A plan of sorts emerges. They call it talk him down, and it's continuous, acid, likely illiterate, helps with boredom, and quickly becomes good practice, as well as an insult to God. Words aren't forever you see, even if they come out of clever mouths that blame innocent buskers. Twenty odd years later the clever strangers' spying is still going on, though the busker is no longer a busker, in fact, has three diplomas and is of a highly professional mind. But spy club don't care because they are serious about pretending to know him (one gets lots of insights into a conscience that way) and besides, they are now a real legend that supports itself and its fame as well as deflecting any suggestion of cowardice. And it deflects from real crimes, real secrets. real desires. Other strangers who loathe the busker have also joined the club over the years. In fact, the legend is still a legend because the people who pretend to know the busker, it's tacitly understood, actually don't actually know the busker, yet know things about him. Quite the feed strangers in fact. And besides, the legend has now invented a sort of anti-legend out of the busker's sweats which somehow loops back upon their legend making it more pertinent. Isn't that clever? And spy club is sarcastic for mates (where the busker is a joke) but terribly distorted for 'better men' (where their lies come in handy) from whence one supposes they get their empowerments. Real street level cred. They don't dare look the busker in the eye of course and introduce themselves because the busker might says something that hurtle them. The busker? He says, to no one in particular, that he has deduced, and posted, that the spy strangers are obviously a club of 'no one defeats us' psychopaths, even if no one believes them to actually be psychopaths. Watch them as they talk their heads off about how not clever that is. Or else. Not spontaneous. Idea was a while ago, and I've had practices.
