Story behind the song
A song inspired by a documentary on some Egyptian Pharoh - He wanted to live for ever, and was under the impression that if one of his concubines willingly gave him her soul, he would then live for ever - obviously, the concubine in question wasn't too happy about this, and so he kept her locked up for years, torturing her, but not killing her, because he thought she was his only chance of achieving immortality.
