One man singer-songwriter musician. Included here are songs written as far back as the late seventies, up to and including the present day. Story behind the song

Written in 1979, this is the first decent recording of this personal classic. Piano and strings make this a lush but heartfelt tribute, if not to some barely remembered girlfriend, then to a young songwriter, now gone grey and grizzled. By the way, the simple solo is my first recorded attempt at slide guitar. I'm still learning!
