This song is about the death of my mother i lost in 2004 and how i lost control of myself and my addiction when she passed away. It takes a long time to pick yourself back up from the loss of a loved one, and even longer when you throw drugs into the mix. After 12 years of addiction, 5 years on parole, and 2 years in jail and prison i pulled myself out of my own hole, which goes to show you if you strive to better yourself and change your life it's not too late.
