This was the opening song for the second night's concert in New York City. It was supposed to be a ballad originally, but I was screwing around with it one night and liked this version much better.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a song that was more like poetry lyrically, and this is what resulted. It's a bit obscure in it's meaning, but does that really matter?
Lyrics
Oh night, surround me. Save me from the noises just outside. Give me just a moment in my rest, In your arms, til I dissolve and hide. Do they ask you where...? Do they ask you...? Oh night, it's water, These pools of guilt and stubborn pride. Each drop escapes these calloused hands, One by one, until the drought subsides. Do they ask you where...? Do they ask you where I am? Do they ask you...? And when the rain and stars collide, I'll stand there wide-eyed. Do you feel me in this weightlessness? If so, let me prostrate down, Let me fall into this lake of solace, The tears of such a bitter clown. Do they ask you where...? Do they ask you where I am? Do they ask you...? Do they ask you where I am?
