We are a group recording some of finest Classic Reggae the west coast and other places have to offer to the world. All music is recorded using improvised techni
UNIQUENESS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Unlike your usual band on any given Friday or Saturday night that's playing at your local clubs, pubs and collage social spots. The musicians that are part of Hoodlum Pharaohs gifted line up, do not record or produce music in the traditional manner. Unlike most bands that spend months and even years in rehearsal studios practicing and perfecting songs until they feel safe enough to finally record them or present them live. By contrast, Hoodlum Pharaohs producer and lead session player Thomas Zambrano has invented a new production technique specifically to re-invent the way music is composed and recorded so that composing and recording are combined together at the same time, note for note; second by second. This unique technique is called C,R & R (compose, record and release) Every note from beginning note to end note is improvised from scratch without any rehearsals, prewritten chord charts, or pryer composition from a past session. This is true for ALL participating musicians, mixing sessions, arrangements, melodies, harmonies, lyrics, vocal styles, moods, atmospheres, rhythm sections, horn sections, chord progressions or any other instruments such as percussion sets, harmonica, synthesizer programing or playing. That's pure improvisation on all known performances and recordings where Hoodlum Pharaohs claims ownership of both production and composition. This unique technique was invented so that the members of the group could create meaningful final recordings of complete compositions that have been developed on the spot through improvisation for the sake of retaining pure spontaneity and original integrity. With this technique the group can easily record audience ready material without losing any qualities that are so vital to attracting an audience without wasting months if not years to distribute a final recording that is ready to be listened to by fans. Generally most recordings are finished and then mastered for CD production and distribution within 48-72 hours. This method also increases the amount of time that can be spent growing the groups catalog of ready to distribute material instead of wasting vast amounts of time redeveloping music in a rehearsal space over and over using current methods before any music reaches the intended listeners. Thank you.
