Not sure how to describe this one, other than to say, it's really different and very much worth a listen.
Dave and I met online in 2008, at a website design to create music in sort of a virtual studio. We first encountered each other on the websites forum, where Dave is currently a moderator, and things evolved from there. I had some health issues a year later and took some time off to get well, but Dave kept in touch and really helped me through a rough time. I came back to record I Woke up in your Dream, which was our first collaboration, and I believe the first time Dave had heard vocals with his music. We were both very happy with that song and continued to write together. Most of 2012 was again a hiatus for me, this time for personal reasons. During that time Dave continued to write and develop some production experience. He invited me in on Slow Song, a song for our troops, and almost a country ballad which was new to me. And Most recently we teamed up for The World I Know, which has done well in the charts but is a song we both felt was special from the onset. We plan on keeping the alliance as long as we're making good music.

Story behind the song
Dave and I met online at a site for developing songs. He lives in South Carolina, I in California. He posted this song and said that a few nights previous, he had had this dream that he woke up in his wife's dream, and she was like, "what are you doing in my dream?" I loved the song and the concept and he asked if I wanted to craft some lyrics and record the vocals and the rest, as they say is history. I think we have a creative connection, and we have continued to write together. I think we create some really good music, have a listen and let me know what you think.
Lyrics
I woke up in your dream Music By: Dave Hensley and Ron Rentz Lyrics by: Ron Rentz Verse 1 The last thing that I felt, were your lips as they kissed me good night Shrouded in darkness, unconsciously drawn into the light Shapes without substance, and shadowy forms without a face It all rushes past me, suspended in time and in space I can’t recognize this place that I’m roaming through The one thing for certain, I know that I’m searching for you Chorus There is a sudden gleam and a familiar theme Somehow I woke up in your dream This is a well planned scheme, perhaps a bit extreme How did I wake up in your dream? Verse 2 I’m now in a hallway, I’m walking past rooms without no doors I keep hearing voices, I call out, but none of them is yours It feels like forever, I’m tired but no way I’m stopping now If I just keep walking, I’ll find you though I’m really not sure how In one of the rooms, a familiar face says come in I know where I am but I’m not certain where I’ve been Chorus There is a sudden gleam and a familiar theme Somehow I woke up in your dream This is a well planned scheme, perhaps a bit extreme How did I wake up in your dream? What could it mean? it’s such a crazy scene I woke up in your dream What am I supposed to feel, this is all so surreal I guess that happens when you dream Your just sitting there with this peculiar stare “What are you doing in my dream?” This is a well planned scheme, perhaps a bit extreme How did I wake up in your dream I woke up in your dream, I woke up in your dream I woke up in your dream, how did I wake up in your dream? I woke up in your dream, I woke up in your dream,
