I wrote this song for the sole purpose of angering my father. It is from my old demo and the recording is very rough.

Artist picture
High-energy political folk with powerful lyrics and an innovative acoustic sound.
Hey Friends, I am Evan Greer, a radical singer/songwriter originally from Boston. My songs roam from the romance of a trainyard to the frontlines of the class-war. My style is sort of aggressive folk. I envision a world where people are free to live their lives in the way that they choose, and where our social interactions are based on love, mutual aid, and solidarity, rather than exploitation and greed. My songs are for anyone who has ever envisioned such a world, anyone who has ever fought for one, and anyone who ever thought that one was impossible, but wished it weren't so.

Lyrics
you fought then for your fellow man but now you turn your back away you're too afraid to take a stand what would other people say? and i'm sick and tired of hearing "i remember when" if you've forsaken it now, then what the hell does it mean? what the hell does it mean? you told me i'll understand when i'm older but you can't see since the cold war it's gotten colder and maybe i've still got a thing or two to learn or maybe you'll understand when you're younger i might as well have been talking through the wall i mentioned it for weeks but you heard nothing at all when you finally realized what was going down you just asked me jagged questions said goodbye and defended the crown you defended the crown you might say it's just youthful ideology while you keep your businessman's facade but remember what a famous man once said "los locos y los inocentes dicen la verdad" "dicen la verdad."
