Progressive Rock songs and instrumentals - diverse styles
Most of the songs on this page will be songs that I wrote and recorded several years ago as songwriter's demos, but they are as relevant today as they were then. They've never been released on or offline before now. If any bands/singers would like to record the songs, please contact me via my other web site: http://www.fractalvsions.co.uk/contact.htm

Story behind the song
This was a stylistic tribute to my favourite New Wave band - The Stranglers. Apart from the drum machine, all parts were played manually - no sequencers! The lyrics were about a lady and her workchums for whom I had an unending lack of admiration.
Lyrics
Keeping the peace With a threat to the East, Ban the parties But don’t ban the bomb; Kill the artists And silence the song. CHORUS: Follow the leader. Follow the leader. The Goddess turns From blue to green Like an off-stage light In a theatre scene, And radiation burns Where it can’t be seen. (CHORUS x2) We can have a dump at the waterside, The shit will flow with the rising tide. Don’t drink the water, Don’t eat the meat, Sell your daughters, But be discreet. (CHORUS x2) SOLO (CHORUS x2)
