Motivational Rap
hiphop rap lyricist
Artist picture
Benny is from the Bronx, uptown. He has been an all around artist since the moment he was able to pick up a pad and a pen. He has not been limited to one main genre, and loves all forms of expression. As can be heard from his first single 'Get Back Up." In order to be called a lyricist you got to be able to pen a visual story using only words, and draw on an audience's mind without knowing how any of them think. To allow the world into your mind can be a scary thing; but, a true lyricist can make the world think hes actually gotten into theirs." Benny sits up and ashes his L "I'm a lyricist" he finishes. Benny has been writing, or as he says "spitting" for over 15 years. He has only recently started sharing his rhymes with the world, when asked about this sudden burst of expression he replied "You know, for a long time I tried to be a regular guy, I've had a lot of different jobs leading up to now. But, in all that time I couldn't stop spitting. I would always write. it was the only time I felt at peace na mean, the whole world stops and you just zone out. It's always been the music. I just realized that the normal person I was trying to be wasn't me. Who want's to be normal anyway that shit ain't fun. Anyway, it was either now or never. So regardless of what does or doesn't pop off, I'm here to stay." It does sound like Benny's here to stay with an incredible, motivational, and uplifting first single called "Get Back Up ft. Anna". And soon to be released singles like Break Free, Private Party, Depression, and, I got next. it doesn't appear like Benny will be going anywhere anytime soon; and, if his next single is anything like his first, you just might be able to say "The kids gonna be a problem."
