Using a simple blues riff but in a minor key, the song bounces with anguish of our hero's defeat.

Story behind the song
I was in Georgia, working with a beautiful girl named Sarah. She up and left the job and just moved to New Orleans. A few months later when visiting relatives there, we met up in a bar and I haven't seen her since.
Lyrics
Sarah went down to New Orleans, Daddy. She left the kids and she left me, Daddy. She went to find a better life Where there's no responsibility. I saw it coming in her eyes. And in her words (she started saying "Everything Bites") Now she's gone and we're alone. Will she ever come back to her home. Sarah went down to New Orleans, Daddy. This is different than the other times, Daddy. She usually doesn't take the bed sheets and the picture of her and Elvis. I couldn't quench the fire inside her. You can only suppress desire for so long. Her flesh caved in, she embraced sin. (I don't think her spirit was willing either) So I went down to New Orleans, Daddy. I brought every picture of every child we had. I found her in a bar, she hadn't slept for days. She wouldn't speak a word to me. So I went home and brought the children back. We moved in next door to where she owned a nasty shack. When you're ready Sarah we're here for you. Until that time our love can see us through.
