It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. They range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) but, as I said, it's about the songs.

Story behind the song
I wrote this song with a female voice in mind. About that time, I saw Audrey Soulard perform at Chrystal Hartigan's Songwriter Showcase in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and immediately felt that she was perfect for the song. She was gracious enough to oblige. Audrey is a songwriter and musician as well as being a beautiful singer, and some of her Showcase performances can be seen on YouTube.
