Hopefully intelligent, upbeat, pop rock - plus multiple other genres and rabbit holes I enter
The band is ME - plus any collaborators I can convince to come along for the ride. I love the process of song writing and production - I hope some others get some enjoyments - or chuckles out of these tunes.

Hermione

(Music performance by RT except, flute:Janet Spangenberg)
It hit her as she reached the door,
Some half-remembered long before,
Whispers in the corridor
Tiles of black and white
An old man in an iron bed,
Her shiny shoes, so cherry red
Something that her mother said,
Maybe she was right
Hermione, Hermione
Hermione is ready
For years her oft-repeated prayers,
The nightgown that she always wears,
The double bed she never shares,
Rituals that she keeps.
Nothing ever unforeseen,
The pillow’s soft, the sheets are clean.
She keeps the usual routine,
Escapes it as she sleeps
Hermione, Hermione
Hermione is ready
The days are long, the nights are tough.
Her effort’s never good enough.
She always sweats the little stuff
And dreams of being free,
Of lovers so long overdue,
Who’ll do the things that lovers do
Who’ll know the things she’s going through,
Who’ll know Hermione
Flute Break
It hit again in Leicester Square
A stillness of the city air
Everything belongs somewhere
That’s how it’s meant to be.
In London’s musty lost and found,
Where hopes are dust and dreams abound,
A lonely, distant siren sound
Calls Hermione.
Hermione, Hermione
Hermione is ready
Hermione, Hermione
Hermione is ready to go home
