7.Allemon road (K.v.d.Wal)
After so many years, got the picture
so straight of the house on the hill.
There`s a sunflower shading the doorway,
preventing the sun shining in.
the postman `s complaining
the mailbox `a shief,
yes those things happen, but I feel no grief.
Well they say that a man can`t think
twice,won`t throw dice
with a song in his hand.
For the hard road
you`d come, for the distance you travelled,
to wonderfull land.
Not easy, not easy to get on the move, but
once you`re going there ain`t be no proof.
Laid back my head with my sisters of
love, had to carry a big sorrow above.
You told me.you told me that rust never
sleeps,and in the morning
the sunflower weeps.
Can I find any rest, can I lay down my head,
back at allemon road.
Now you think there`s a way.you can hold
back the years, back at Allemon road.
