This song was written while I was working 3rd shift in a lock down 24/7 Crisis Stabilization/Detox unit. We had a community guitar for the clients I would sometimes play. I was inspired by some of the more romanticized and philosophical thoughts and words of those suffering with more paranoia and dissociation I encountered in the five years I was employed.
