Heeeyyy, how's it goin'. I'm Joy, a 20-year old student at UW in Seattle, making music with Propellerheads Reason software when I get the inspiration. I made this page so I can have all my music in one accessible place, much like the early Yaellergrunspittond days of MP3.com. Oh, the memories. Anyway, I'm not sure who's going to be visiting this page, so I'll go ahead and write a little bit about all this for those who don't know.

Story behind the song

This was the first song I wrote after a quarter-long hiatus (mainly because Statistics is evil and winter in Seattle doesn't help).  I named it 'Ascending' because I wanted it to be something uplifting, but also because I'd thought I'd be weird 'cause the synth line that repeats through a big chunk of the song is descending.  Har.
