Story behind the song
"I actually wrote this tune for another male artist who felt he was a bit too old for it. Michael Downing, my longtime producer and co-writer said 'Leonard this would be perfect for you." I think it's one of the best songs I have ever written."

(Excerpt)
As a little boy I loved Superman
I wanted to be him
I would take a toy and with my hand
Toss it to the wind
And I'd walk away
I knew one day
I would fly side by side
With a girl whose heart I broke
Paint the sky take a ride
Sit on a cloud and just float
Save her life
No more guys trying to hurt my baby
I'm here to stay forever...
I apologize
I was Clark Kent
Trying not to be
Treating little girls like little toys
Isn't what my mom taught me
