Story behind the song
I'm laaaate. My New Year was nothing special, but I wanted to do another New Year's Beat. I figure that'll be my New Year's tradition, since I never do anything on December 31st haha. I did the Coldplay Sample last year. I heard the Death Cab For Cutie Sample, but that wasn't as fun to play with as the cover. The beat is just mellow. The sounds alone sorta sum up how I felt on Jan 1st.
