A new song I produced about a year ago. Though the lyrics I wrote sometime in the mid 90's. I had wanted to make this into a song and get it down, but never got around to it. Over a decade later, i finally wrote the music for it.

Story behind the song
The song is for the everyday worker. Working hard for their money and then having to give so much away to the Government.
Lyrics
I’m just another name in societies eyes Making a living and trying to survive Busting my ass everyday Busting my ass for the governments pay There’s no time, for me to unwind I’m so tired I’m losing my mind I’ve got to find some way to relax Take a break and get my sanity back Chorus: Overworked, Underpaid I’m heading straight to the grave Overworked and Underpaid There’s no money to be saved Don’t know why I have no money I can’t say that it’s poverty It must be all these taxes The government steals from me! Start at dawn, finish by dark Reality has left it’s mark Step up into the working class Time wears onto you real fast
