Story behind the song
It's based on my relationship with my High School Sweetheart. The melody is from a traditional Japanese folk song that I was asked by some Japanese college students to put English lyrics to, so that they could sing it with their little group. They didn't want it translated, so I don't know what the other lyrics said.
