Just me. Just songs.
I was born with an undiagnosable brain dysfunction, having seizures, and with blue skin dur to oxygen deprivation. I would spend much of my youth on strong, mind-altering medication, I would ultimately end up being declared fully disabled on psychiatric grounds, and I've had to be committed to five different psychiatric facilities in three different states. These days, the primary thrust of my overall creative efforts is the advocacy work that I seek to do for the mentally ill and the mentally disabled. These are my songs.

Lyrics
For The Children Verse 1: When I look outside And watch the children play I think about the world We live in today I see so much fighting I see so much greed Are we giving our kids What they really need Chorus: Do it for the children Do it for the kids So they can have the life That we never did Let’s make the world for them Let’s set aside our sin And let’s do it right now For the children Verse 2: Where ever they live Whatever they may believe Please let them live in peace Give them room to breath Protect their innocence Every day Point them toward the future And show them the way Chorus: Do it for the children Do it for the kids So they can have the life That we never did Let’s make the world for them Let’s set aside our sin Let’s do it right now For the children Bridge: Put aside your anger Put aside your sorrow Do it today so they Can have tomorrow Chorus: Do it for the children Do it for the kids So they can have the life That we never did Let’s make the world for them Let’s set aside our sin Let’s do it right now For the children Alternate Bridge: Rise above all the hate Rise above the war And give them a life That’s worth living for
