Story behind the song
2 really good friends of mine from Nashville, CJ Watson and Camille Wallin, (who by the way are both on their way to being Hit songwriters in their own rights), wrote this beautiful duet. I heard it for the 1st time on a demo of songs that CJ gave me when we were picking out songs for my ex's CD. When we heard it we immediately knew that we had to record it. CJ and Camille sang the original demo and when Brandy Lynn and I recorded it with Kimo Forrest producing, there was magic in the studio that day and we knew that it was a keeper. I liked the song so much that I decided to include it on my CD as well and now it is kind of bittersweet as the song is about not wanting to deal with the inevitable breakup of 2 lovers, and the song took on a whole new meaning after my divorce. But I love the song and thank CJ and Camille for allowing us to record it!
