I’ve been writing songs on and off for the past 30 years. I tend to write country although I'm known to write songs that are more folk or rock. Sometimes when I sit down with a guitar I surprise myself with what comes out!
Story behind the song
You know when you get a free sample in the mail? Sometimes you get really useful things like hand cream, laundry soap or maybe even tea. Me? I get some stuff called AGE REPAIR. You put it on your face to help remove wrinkles! I was really insulted because a) Why did these people think I needed this stuff and b) Just how old did they think I was??
And a song was born.
