Pardon? How can I interview me? Some streets are better than others? Some highways are brighter than others. Time of day, find a state of mind, imagination, TV, 1920s. I write about love, lost or found, hopefully honestly inspired by love, and try to play better for that. When younger protested about behaviours on my radar, and of course, being a simple artist, surfing the great times I imagine I had in another life, or maybe one day this one!

Story behind the song
Just the same sort of thing. I want a record. It's just fun comedy blues (as usual). 5 a.m. I usually go running. That's apparently reason enough. Likely they are talking their heads off and crying anything but call themselves what they are. Notes: .....for example ... referring to ( apparently my life as what they are, times three ) as mad when there is no evidence of it, just an ambition and an 'eventual goal' and because it makes their life as unwelcome spy bastards easier. Besides it actually feels good to know one bothers right? No such thing as not better than me after all these years? Just say he's on the pokey pokey and away the day roll? And why should I suffer for strangers and their damn history? Before last Christmas I'd said nothing, in fact, not until this blues thing .... I certainly never invited them. Likely a tradition about me that everyone can know (me) and yet have nothing to do with (me). That always was a cruelty. And a way to blame me conveniently for anything. I don't care if it is a uniquely Western Australian thing. It smacks of deception. The unwelcome map couldn't be wider. Killers. Watch that devious 'thank you' of theirs. The thought of annihilating me has always felt good to them. No reason for it, and it snowballed.
