I started COVENANT about three years ago.My wife got saved and The Lord drafted me.I started recieving lyrics and music to songs, all of wich had messages that were above where my walk had taken me to that point.I knew without a doubt that Goid wanted me to minister through music.The ball started rolling and God being awesome that he is, kept it moving, opening door after door.This year my wife and I played about 50-60 events.
We have never made or asked for a dime.We are so blessed that money is not even a factor, unless its to give it away at a Fundraiser, which we take part in many every year.Freely it is given freely shall we give.
Story behind the song
Reading in Mathew about the Beggar at the gates of the temple when Apostles healed him in the name of Jesus.
I thought to myself,Thats me I'm just a beggar at the gates of Heaven.I wrote this song in half an hour.
