Country rock western
My earliest memories of music were from my grandfather Milton, who played piano like no one else. He loved performing for family and friends, and eventually began to take requests from customers at the little bar he had purchased after retiring from his welding job. Playing from memory and by ear, he loved the honky-tonk and ragtime tunes from the 20's and 30's, and more often than not had a reel-to-reel going at his home studio. My paternal grandfather was from North Carolina, and he loved to eat fried chicken, biscuits and gravy. I also remember the country music that was a constant companion in his home. The boots that I wear in my photos belonged to him

Lyrics
Gonna miss that cute little smile And the braid in your hair That bright yellow dress And the perfume that you wear Walkin' hand in hand Down by Johnson's Creek Rollin' in the grass And those little kisses on the cheek You don't know how much I love you And I wish upon the stars above you That this day would Never come to be When I'd have to leave… Didn't know who I was Or what I was gonna do But that all changed for me On the day that I met you Now all I do is think about you Don't know what I'll do without you I hoped this day would Never come for me When I'd have to leave You don't know how much I love you And I'll be waitin' there above you Until that day when you're up there with me… You know I gotta go But I don't want to leave But please would you do One last thing for me? Keep us in your memory.
