Lyrics
Tell The Good News Dan Adkins (Chorus) Tell the good news- the tomb is empty Tell the good news- He is alive After what they did at Calvary How could any man survive? I've just got to tell somebody And they'll tell somebody too Till someday all the world will know So Brother- tell the good news They were gathered there together Disillusioned broken hearts Like sheep without a shepherd 'Cause they'd been with Him from the start Though the years had been glorious Now it's over- He is gone They watched them crucify Him Now it's time that they move on Maybe they'd go back tomorrow To their fishing on the shore Taking taxes at the table All the things they did before But then something wonderful happened That made the church survive Mary broke into the room She said, "I’ve seen Him, He's alive". (Chorus) Tell the good news- the tomb is empty Tell the good news- He is alive After what they did at Calvary How could any man survive? I've just got to tell somebody And they'll tell somebody too Till someday all the world will know So Brother? tell the good news Well, I serve a risen Saviour He's in the world today I know that He is living Whatever men may say I see His hand of mercy I hear His voice of c heer And just the time I need Him Well, you know He's always near (Chorus) Tell the good news- the tomb is empty Tell the good news- He is alive After what they did at Calvary How could any man survive? I've just got to tell somebody And they'll tell somebody too Till someday all the world will know So Brother? tell the good news
