Country rock western
My earliest memories of music were from my grandfather Milton, who played piano like no one else. He loved performing for family and friends, and eventually began to take requests from customers at the little bar he had purchased after retiring from his welding job. Playing from memory and by ear, he loved the honky-tonk and ragtime tunes from the 20's and 30's, and more often than not had a reel-to-reel going at his home studio. My paternal grandfather was from North Carolina, and he loved to eat fried chicken, biscuits and gravy. I also remember the country music that was a constant companion in his home. The boots that I wear in my photos belonged to him

Lyrics
Chorus (voice only) Kentucky's got the bourbon Tennessee has got J.D. But since my baby left me Well, it's all the same to me So pass me another bottle Then just let me be 'Cause Mrs. Whiskey Will keep me company Music I started out by askin' "Do you come here a lot?" Now we meet here daily And we've got our favorite spot It doesn't really matter What I have or haven't got And she doesn't try to make me Somethin' that I'm not Chorus I can tell her all my problems And she doesn't seem to mind She's a real good listener And she's not the cheatin' kind She doesn't want my car keys, My money, or my home Since the day I met her I've never been alone Chorus Music Now I tell all my friends I've found the girl for me No doubt Mrs. Whiskey Will take good care of me Someday we'll be married And I know that day will come Then she'll want to change her name To vodka, gin or rum Chorus… anthem, voice Repeat chorus… music So if you ever need a friend She isn't so hard to find Call up Mrs. Whiskey! And have a real good time
