A song I recorded as a young man where I harmonize with myself in a sort of Everly Brothers style. I think the passion and the innocence that this song captures is what I like most about it. Multi-leveled meanings are implied in this song.

My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways my ways says the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than yours. Isa: 55:9
"Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are towards us: they cannot be counted up in order to you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." Psalms:40:5 This is what my music is all about.

Story behind the song
This song was recorded in my friend's garage way back in the early 70's down in Southern California on a reel-to-reel tape deck. It's a pleasant and peaceful although a somewhat melancholy song.
Lyrics
Searching the sky from here on the ground Knowing that Im reality bound Wish I could fly abandon my fear Climb up so high and then disappear Where is the one Ive been learning for? Where is the sun Ive been turning for? Where is the fun Ive been yearning for? Oh was it all just a dream? Things never are what they seem Standing alone with no one to hold Cant understand why love is so cold Nothing for me but my company Feeling so empty why must I be? Where is the one Ive been learning for? Where is the sun Ive been turning for? Where is the fun Ive been yearning for? Oh was it all just a dream? Things never are what they seem
