The music available here is a mix of studio and home demo recording. The demo tracks are of, shall we say, uneven sound quality, but have their own charms nonetheless. Thanks for checking them all out.

Story behind the song
While reading bios of Epstein, I was struck by the recurrence of brown paper bags in his life; it seemed a natural theme for a song about this talented, tragic figure.
Lyrics
And when they let me out and I hit the street, You know I ran like a hare. I worked for Daddy and I tried to be discreet. Then I saw you standing there. I needed someone like you, And if you needed someone like me . . . But I kept my heart in a brown paper bag And I tried to let it be. You know I never signed the deal that we made, But I gave you all my time. I bought you suits and Italian boots And I made you toe the line. We made a lot of money and spread it all around; After the show I'd get a brown paper bag, And then we'd all get out of town. I've got too much of what I wanted, Not enough of what I need. But how in the world can I stop dancing now? A splendid time is guaranteed. Now I'm only 32, and I'm afraid to board this plane. Put "Sgt. Pepper" into brown paper bags; You've got to hide your love away.
