Yes we got our fair share of abuse at all the Occupy's, but we raise the consciousness and maybe even the conscience of the nation a degree, which could help in the next Tahrirs, Madisons, Greeces, and Wall Streets - comin' right up!
folk political satire

Songs to afflict those who make everyone else uncomfortable.
Dave Lippman travels the world taking the air out of the windbags of the week, de-distorting history, and rewriting the classics with parody and thrust. He also presents the world's only known singing CEO, the Bard of the Bankers, Wild Bill Bailout, who employs anti-folk songs and interventionary anthems to explain (and enforce) that the business of America is none of your business, that those too big to fail are also too big for jail, and that the jobless and foreclosed must bail out their own boats.

Story behind the song
How many times must a man rewrite the Stones? Whatever works. Rewriting and appropriating are classic folk music procedure, and now "classic rock" procedure. Sixties artists should have paid more attention to social movements, and I'm fixin' their lyrics now, no extra charge.
Lyrics
I saw the bankers at the reception Stealing homes and jobs and lands They are practiced at the art of deception You can tell by their blood-stained hands Chorus: You can’t always get what you want When 1% are living for their greed You can’t always get what you want But if you occupy, you just might find You get what you need So I went down to the occupation To get my fair share of abuse Singing, "We're gonna vent our frustration If we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse" Chorus We need to foreclose on the banks And pepper spray the student loans It’s time to teargas the tanks Evict the politicians from their thrones Got to stop and frisk the police chiefs Detain and question Mr. Dow Jones Deny building permits for the prisons And flash-bang the bankers and their loans Chorus It’s time to mass arrest the Warmakers I suggest we replace them all with Quakers Kudos and respect to the risk takers Who occupy everywhere We’ve been a bit quiescent since Seattle But we have woken up since Tahrir And now we’ve got a new generation That’s broken through apathy and fear We need to foreclose on the banks And pepper spray the student loans It’s time to teargas the tanks Evict the politicians from their thrones Chorus
