Hi!
I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began.

Wonderful mood song, Ralph with a strong emotive nature. Your instrumentation is so crisp and clear and captures the essence of your great song's title: "Missed You in Paris". And that last little Accordian note suggests more to come (if this were a movie song - and well it should be as this song is SO EXCELLENT!) Thanks for the Paris memories, and for the dl.

Of all the accordians in the challenge, yours was simply the best! A very beautiful piece of music...nice flow, kind of sad, very pleasant to the ears!

Hi Ralph, really liked this, have so much stuff like this in my track collections, you captured the whole sound and groove, the accordion and muted trumpet work so well together, reminds of some tracks featuring Boulou Ferere, very dreamy and chilled.

Did you record all of this "mirror fugue" style? A lot of reverse sounding instruments, which is very cool. An absolute corker of a tune here Ralph, definitely one of my fave's from the night. Love that haunting mute trumpet so much :)

I agree Ralph ... we started our pieces from the same point, but oh the difference. Another one of your more experimental pieces and very successful. I see these really complex musical connections in the piece and yet to the ear so musical.

Love the way you let the melody stray into strange tonalities and scales - a real improvised jazz feel, and I always think of Paris as a jazz town. Perfect evocation - melancholy, introspective, very french! C'est parfait, Ralph, bravo!

This is especially cool, Ralph. I've heard some Argentina artists do these kind of things. Alternative tango.
