I'm Joe Johnson a local United Methodist Pastor. Before I felt God calling me into the ministry I thought I was going to be a rap artist. For 8 years I did nothing with music until my wife introduced me to a group called "The Gospel Gansters" in 1998. It was an eye opening experience. I was amazed to see people using rap for the glory of God. That day I picked up paper and pen and I haven't put it down yet.

Jesus is what my heart seeks Jesus is why my heart beat Jesus makes my heart sing And this is what it tells me It says dance if you want to dance It says sing if you want to sing If you’re an artist paint the picture of your feelings inside Use your gift so God is glorified Don’t let it hid a master leaving for trip in one Jesus parables we learn And he tells his servants to care for his things until he returns one servant he give 10 talents, another he gives 5 the last he gives one talent, and tells em all to be wise Well the dude with 10 talents put it to work and doubled it And the guy with 5 talents also had no trouble in using it But the servant with one talent, thought to himself The Master must not think much of me to give me only this and nothing else So since I only got one talents I’ll guard it with my life I’ll just take a shovel dig a hole and burry it inside Well the master returns and calls for his servants to account And the first two servants return their talents plus double the amount But the servant with only one talent came with a shovel and faced him He said at least I didn’t lose it. The master said No, you wasted it. to many of us live this life with talents that we are trying to save And they end up as talents buried in our grave (Tell me) what does your heart seek And why does your heat beat And What can make your heart sing Can some body tell me?
