Story behind the song

I've always had the microphone very close to the speaker doing recordings in the past. Having seen what others have been doing this time I've tried the Microphone recording at around 30cm distance from Fender VibroChamp XD. Enjoying the easier bends on the 3rd string having recently changed back from a long spell using a wound 3rd.
