Story behind the song
Well, the fact that countries on the third world don't have the opportunity to take over the media as often as the first world ones. Thanks to this, the information everyone get throughout the world is what the most developed countries want them to know...usually they tell the world only bad things about our countries, like the fact that some of them suffer of narcotraffic, or terrorism, etc., etc. "Soundcheck" is claimming of this and is telling the big guys to at least let us have a soundcheck, since "we cannot really take part in the main performance". I also thought that it would be a nice song to start a concert or an album, right in the moment when everybody is waiting for you to tune your guitars and the volume of the instruments...then we start the Soundcheck!!
