An original written by me and performed by Santa Barbara's The Cover Story News. Recorded on a handheld recorder for analysis purposes.
A child of the 60's and 70's and now the internet! I'm into writing songs and recording with friends I've met in guitar fora. I do most everything in my home office, on my Mac with Logic pro and Abelton Live. Also I've gotten back together with my old band mates from the 70's and we've formed a band called Geezer. You can see our performances on my youtube channel of the same name - Zebramanster.

Lyrics
NO INSTRUCTIONS Didn’t feel like working. Ducked out early today. Took a walk down Main Street, Thinking of what I could say. What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. Couldn’t really blame you. I’d have done the same for sure. (Chorus) But I hope you’ll see, That I wasn’t being me. Just a very busy woman, Trying to do the best I can, With no instructions. (Trying to live my life with no instructions.) (What else can I do?) Feeling kinda stupid, Doesn’t make it right, I know. Got no excuses, ’Cept I’m making it up as I go…… What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. (Chorus) (Chorus) But I hope you’ll see, That I wasn’t being me. Just a very busy woman, Trying to do the best I can, With no instructions. (Trying to live my life with no instructions.) (What else can I do?) Well, I guess I’m not perfect. Understatement of the year. So I’ll wait for your verdict. I hope you’ll see that I’m sincere. What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. What was I thinking? Hell, I must have been drinking. (Chorus) But I hope you’ll see, That I wasn’t being me. Just a very busy woman, Trying to do the best I can, With no instructions.
