Story behind the song
Coconut Blues Challenge Aug 2012 Science Fiction entry: I haven't done this in a year and have missed the way it pushes you to complete a project. Hope it's not too long, I tried too cut it back but it just didn't seem right. At 7 minutes hope you can hang around for the whole thing. I pulled out one of my old analog pedals for this one, Ibanez AD9 delay, love the way it generates those feedback and churning sounds. Also used my Roland XP80 sound module for those Mellotron sounds in the mix.

Beautiful tune here Eddie - fantastic tones and effects give the whole piece a refreshingly original sound. Full of interest and details - kept my attention for the whole 7 mins easily. I used to have an Ibanez Jetlyzer pedal that made some great analogue sounds you can't get nowadays. On topic, creative, superb piece! Welcome back to the CBC!

Nice melodies and funny how well the bubbling sounds fit into the SciFi theme. I think we all have a certain idea a of what outer space sounds like. This is definitely a very good interpretation of the challenge theme!
