Just me. Just songs.
I was born with an undiagnosable brain dysfunction, having seizures, and with blue skin dur to oxygen deprivation. I would spend much of my youth on strong, mind-altering medication, I would ultimately end up being declared fully disabled on psychiatric grounds, and I've had to be committed to five different psychiatric facilities in three different states. These days, the primary thrust of my overall creative efforts is the advocacy work that I seek to do for the mentally ill and the mentally disabled. These are my songs.

Lyrics
He Gave Her Flowers Verse 1: They were in the school yard where all the kids come She was all of 12 and he was struck dumb She dazzled him with all her womanly powers He didn't know what he should do All his friends were clueless too So he went out and he picked her some flowers Chorus: Pretty flowers in a trembling hand Say words better than any voice can When you're not sure just what words to say They won't last long but that's just fine They were never meant to last a long time It's what those flowers said that will always stay… …what those flowers said will always stay Verse 2: Years went by…they settled down Got their own place just outside of town Things were great 'til the day they had that fight He stormed out…she thought they were through …Turned out he knew just what to do The flowers he brought back said things just right Chorus: Pretty flowers in a trembling hand Say words better than any voice can When you're not sure just what words to say They won't last long but that's just fine They were never meant to last a long time It's what those flowers said that will always stay… …what those flowers said will always stay Verse 3: Time went by and they grew old The day her breath stopped and she grew cold It seemed he cried and cried unending hours Standing by her stone beneath a sky so blue He did the only thing he knew to do… …He knelt down…and he gave her some flowers Chorus: Pretty flowers in a trembling hand Say words better than any voice can When you're not sure just what words to say They won't last long but that's just fine They were never meant to last a long time It's what those flowers said that will always stay… …What those flowers said…will always stay Lyrics: W.
