Story behind the song
Many years ago, Matt, Anne, and Olivia were caught in a snow storm in Cle Elum, Washington. We found sanctuary overnight, and to pass the time, Matt and Olivia (with input from Anne) created a little comic book, a sort of "Xyloman meets Xanadu"pastiche. Somehow the material stuck with Matt, and he wanted to make an animated musical out of the material. Some songs were completed, and some storyboards were created, but the project (as with so many others of his foundered. Just recently after a couple of decades, some of these historic documents were recovered. Perhaps this musical will see the light of day yet! Olivia wanted Xylodu threatened by distruction with a wrecking ball, so I invented a villian named "Wrecking Ball" - a fearsome spherical ruffian. She wasn't really pleased with this idea, but I knew what I was doing, that's why they paid me the big bucks. This song features Matt on offkey vocals and Olivia on background "Thock a booms"
