The hospital doors burst open, and the generators began to hum as the doctors worked bravely and vigorously to bring Nathan '2wo5ive6ix' Graham into the world safely! Born and raised in the small town of Russellville, Alabama he was heavily influenced by music. Some of the most notable musical influences are; Korn, Bone Thugs -n- Harmony, James Brown, Marilyn Manson, Tupac Shakur, UGK, Metallica, Notorious B.I.G., Pink Floyd, N.W.A., and Guns n Roses.
Nathan began dreaming of entertaining at a very young age. He said "when the other kids in the neighborhood were playing video games, tag, or whatever I was watching music videos, I was absolutely intrigued by it. I knew one day that would be me". As a teenager, While still dreaming of a music career and freestyling at parties, an addiction to alcohol and pills prevented him from fully pursuing his dream. Then, after several arrests, jail time, probation, fines, treatment centers, and mostly wasted time. He finally decided to get clean/sober, put the drugs and party life behind him and focus on what he, for so long, had dreamed of doing. He finished his first project "Yessir" in 2004 and after selling 1000 CD's in the first two weeks, he knew that he had what it takes to be successful in the music industry. From there he's released several albums, mixtapes, produced albums, produced beats, featured on several other projects, and performed live several times in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Now, in an attempt to raise awareness and give back, he's currently working on the #StopTheViolenceAmerica Campaign/Tour selling T-shirts, and releasing a new album Brainstorm on July 24th, 2015 which is available now and 10% of all profits of the campaign will go to benefit victims of domestic violence, child abuse, gun violence, and suicide prevention!
Nathan '2wo5ive6ix' Graham is a very determined, motivated, compassionate, and courteous person and all those things are expressed through his music. All the things he's been through has made him stronger and motivated him to help the ones that's going through the same things and let them know, there is hope and a way out. In conclusion, his music is uniquely quintessential in hip-hop, and a breath of fresh air from all the watered down "brag-rap" that you hear today.
