Story behind the song
John (Wookiee) phoned me up one day and asked what I was doing. I replied "nothing" so he said "well write a song about it then". Less than an hour later I had done as he said. I played it on the 2 bass strings of my guitar just picking one after the other. Then a friend came round with his banjo and we recorded it on the V-Studio 20 using just one microphone between us. Wookiee tweaked out some (as much as he could) of the background noise and what we have left is a fun song. I later thought about it and as the song was sort of inspired by Chas & Dave and myself (middle name Charles or Chas) and David (shortened to Dave) had just recorded a song by Dave & Chas.
