An experimentive music project covering a variety of genres with emotional tones.
Formed in early 2003, Katie & KayeN are the two behind "Dichorum"; an experimentive music project covering a variety of genres with emotional tones. Sharing similar interests in music, the two got together just three days after their first conversation, creating their very first song: "Removing The Grey". Afterwards, they worked together on more songs experimenting with all kinds of different sounds, and Dichorum was born. Katie writes lyrics and sings, KayeN makes music and also writes lyrics and does vocals. All songs are original and are the works of both members of Dichorum with a wide range of influences.

Lyrics
AREA CODE (EVERYDAY DRAGGING) (lyrics by Katie; music by Katie, KayeN) So this is everyday dragging I remember that room a flooded mess I was drowning lost in my cup of soup. You said I needed to be thinner and smarter and loosen up and I loosened up, wanted to forget how I was losing myself your hand went too far and I wanted to turn myself inside out so I did and I learned monsters were everywhere and were people you loved I know you thought I thought too much but I guess not enough cause I stood by you, behind you, waiting it out. So rough and baby lucifer would have been nicer than you everyday dragging. Stripped of my dreams and my who I was and honor and everything mouth drowned in pillows and tears and silence dripped from my eyes bleeding myself dry on the paper not putting anything inside how was all that ever love? it haunted, it echoed, it carved its name I wanted that escape I wanted the let go puzzle piece lost in the rain could never fit again and I swear I hear that 16 year old girl with her 16 year old friend "forget the area code" but these days drag and I've got to get out of this and so I did.
