Story behind the song
This Raga-Jazz song combines a Santur Melody with Piano Solo and Backing of Bass, Reed Organ, Hand Drums/Tabla, and Tambourine. NOTE: RAGA (not to be confused with Raggae) is an old and modern musical form of a five note melody used in Classical Indian Music as well as Pop Medium Music such as Bollywood Indian Movies. JAZZ will not be defined here. For, as the great Jazz American musician Louis (Louie) Armstrong once said when asked to define Jazz: "Man, if you have to ask, you will never know!".

This one really shone out for me on the night - such a crazy mix of sumptuous indian sounds and riffing piano. This shouldn't work at all but it does, and brilliantly too! Only you could do this Dr Bob and I'm glad you did. Fantastic!

Definitely my favorite of your entries! I was fascinated with the explanation of the "raga". I did not know what this was. You certainly did your homework on this challenge!
