Story behind the song
I guess it was around 2003, or 4, I put out a post on myspace asking friends if they had any lyrics they would like me to create music for . This was one of the first tunes that I came up with. This approach sometimes sparks new musical ideas for me. While reading the lyrics with guitar in hand this song came together within a couple hours. I just recently came across the recording while doing some work in my studio. I thought to myself, I should re-record this tune now that my vocal and recording skills have improved since the original was produced. It still has a ways to go, I want to add guitar, a little more percussion to fill in the holes and some more harmonies. Stay tuned !
