This is an old song, probably one of the first with more than a guitar and a vocal track. Probably did it on a four track tape machine, a Porta something.
folk surreal satire
I've always considered myself folk, but I play an electric guitar, so you figure it out. I'm just a guy with some cheesy equipment. Sheet music really helps me
I'm just an old man recording in a basement. The band is an AdrenaLinn effects and drum machine, some amps and some guitars

Lyrics
Here I come down the highway in my Lincoln My eyes are red and I've been drinking There's a roach on my lip, which I'm tokin' I'm death on wheels and I ain't jokin' When I cross the center line and wipe out your family. Hey, but that don't bother me. I'll just go to Paulie's and get some dope And smoke it up and I won't note. That I've killed three people but I'll still be sad There's a dent in the fender of the Lincoln and it looks real bad. Ran out of marijuana just the other day, Boy was I hurting there was hell to pay Turned out my pockets but I was so poor Had to jump into the Lincoln and drive to store. Pulled out my Glock and pointed it at the clerk Said open the register. OOO, she cried, I got two kid, What could I do? She was moving too slow So I shot her. Took the money and jumped into the car and I'd be lying If I said Paulie's pot wasn't real good and everything didn't turn out fine. I was smoking pot and rubbing my Glock When out in the hall I heard a big knock Then the door came crashing to the floor And into my house six cops did pour. But they didn't realize how narrow the hall was. I even had time to reload as I shot the fuzz. I stepped over the bodies and jumped into the Lincoln 19 hours later I was on this mountain top. It was out in New Mexico somewhere I'm thinking. So I sat down on this rock and lit up a joint I was thinking about my life, man what was the point. And there's one other thing I would like to add at this time That I never could make quite rhyme It sure was good pot.
